Requirements
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health Nursing or similar credentials
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in an industrial or occupational health settings.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
- Strong background in emergency and first aid care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct effective health and safety training sessions.
- Proficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate medical records.
- Experience with health and wellness program development and management.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular health assessments, screenings, and immunizations for employees
- Provide first aid and emergency care as necessary
- Monitor and manage employee illnesses and injuries, including referral to appropriate medical specialists as needed
- Develop and implement health and safety programs, including ergonomics assessments, injury prevention, and health promotion initiatives
- Conduct training sessions for employees on health and safety topics
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all employees
