Draftsman

Job Description

Our client is looking for a Draftsman:

Requirements:

Knowledge of the professional environment 

Knows methods of manufacturing metallic structures, boilerwork and pipework. 

Knows structural dimensioning principles.

Knows welding symbols, isometric and mechanical drawing conventions.

Responsibilities:

Studies support documents: specification, functional diagrams.

Produces fabrication drawings by Computer Aided Design. (C.A.D.) 

Performs feasibility studies. Writes isometric and pipe carrier drawings. 

Adapts process diagrams and system layout drawings as a function of customer requests and project progress. 

Checks the validity of technical documents before distribution. 

Ensures that drawings comply with the customer’s request.
