Requirements

Qualification and Experience

–        Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health Nursing or similar credentials

Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in an industrial or occupational health settings.

Required Skills and Knowledge

–        Advanced knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.

–        Strong background in emergency and first aid care.

–        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

–        Ability to conduct effective health and safety training sessions.

–        Proficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate medical records.

–        Experience with health and wellness program development and management.

–        Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards

–        Strong interpersonal and communication skills

–        Ability to work independently and as part of a team

–        Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

–        Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

–        Conduct regular health assessments, screenings, and immunizations for employees

–        Provide first aid and emergency care as necessary

–        Monitor and manage employee illnesses and injuries, including referral to appropriate medical specialists as needed

–        Develop and implement health and safety programs, including ergonomics assessments, injury prevention, and health promotion initiatives

–        Conduct training sessions for employees on health and safety topics

–        Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all employees
