Marine Integrity Engineer

Job Description

Our client is looking for a Marine integrity engineer:

Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree, but preference for Marine Engineering degree

• No experience is required, however desirable knowledge on FPSO Deck and Engine marine equipment, lifesaving appliances, and appropriate knowledge of Technical and Regulatory Standards associated to the above.

• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the marine related Manuals are up to date.

• Participate to the investigations of marine related incidents/accidents/equipment failures.

• Support any emergencies in the LECC (Local Emergency Control center)

• Keep the stability software updated for the Units in operation and run the software in the LECC as necessary.

• Review and verify the applicability to the Region units of all internal SBM alerts such as GTS Alerts, Flash and Incidents Alerts related to the Marine System

• Collaborate with the budget preparations for the units.

• Visit the shore bases or offshore sites as required.
